Power BI and an AI Copilot for a 60-Person Consultancy

A consultancy had plenty of data but no unified view. We designed and built a Power BI system and an AI Copilot layer to turn data into decisions.

Overview

A mid-sized consultancy had years of data in AFAS but no single, trusted view of performance. The project defined the business case and then built a KPI Tracking System on top of it.

I built a Power BI model over eight AFAS source tables with a star schema, three role-based dashboards (Revenue, Project Health, Hours Capacity) and row-level security.

An AI Copilot layer let managers query the data in natural language. We tested it with five users across 30 bilingual prompts and recommended a Conditional Go with a scaling roadmap.
